A tennis game with British Prime Minister David Cameron and London Mayor Boris Johnson was sold at auction for $ 270,000 to banker Lyubov Chernukhina. It is reported by The Guardian.

A woman who is the wife of ex-finance minister Vladimir Chernukhin bought a lot at an evening held in support of the British Conservative Party in London on July 2.

Details of the match are unknown. In particular, it is not reported who will become the partner of the wife of the Russian ex-official in the game against Cameron and Johnson.

With the help of an auction, the organizers of the evening managed to raise about half a million pounds ($ 857 thousand) for the needs of the party.

In 2012, a British citizen, Lyubov Chernukhina, was recognized by the British Electoral Commission as an undesirable donor. Then she tried to transfer to the conservatives 10 thousand pounds (17 thousand dollars). Subsequently, the Tories still accepted from the business woman three donations totaling five and a half thousand pounds (9,400 dollars).

Cameron was already demanding explanations in connection with the financing of the activities of the Tory party by the Russians. According to The Guardian, the precedent with Chernukhina could lead to a new round of discussions about the conservative party's addiction to secret donations.
