Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova in an interview with The Philippine Star summed up the season, shared her plans for the future and talked about her future children.

Last season, I could fly out of the top ten of the WTA rating, but in the end I finished it on the second line. In general, the year was successful for me, but in the coming season I set myself much more goals. Of course, I really want to have a family. It is very important. While I was growing up, I had a very close relationship with my mother. We are very good friends. I want the same relationship I had with my children, said Sharapova.

Also, the 27-year-old athlete reported that she was not going to end her career yet. According to Sharapova, she has a desire, the necessary attitude and the desire to achieve new goals and improve her game.

Sharapova ended the 2014 season with the Premier League matches of the commercial team tournament, in which the stars of the present and the past in the capital of the Philippines, Manila, participate. On Saturday, November 29, her team Manila Mavericks lost to Mikromax Indian Aces, and the Russian woman herself lost to Ana Ivanovich from Serbia.

At the end of the season, Sharapova took second place in the rating list of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), losing only to the American Serena Williams.
